Recently, while searching for some new flowers to plant in the garden - I found myself drawn to clusters and mounds of delicate Lobelia. It was the diminutive size of the flowers, which when planted en mass - cascading down the sides of urns and pots - becomes so mesmerizing. Subsequently, I realized, I have always loved small flowers and as a child, spent many lazy summer days creating little daisy chains of flowers found in my Mother’s garden. The long and sinewy architecture of these stunning multi-colored sapphire earrings, reminds me of the delicate floral daisy chains of my youth. Sparkling minuscule sapphire briolettes in golds, raspberry, blue/green and orange colors, have been hand-wrapped in gold-filled wire, to create these dainty little flowers - then linked to one another to form these charming earrings. The spectacular rainbow hues of these sapphires compliments beautifully with the floral print fashions that are appearing everywhere this year.
